Thumb of Michigan | I was kind of in your landlords shoes, as far as limiting crops to be grown.
No sugar beets, no seed corn. Everything was to be no-till, strip till, or some very close variation on that.
We have a few viable crops that can be rotated besides beets and seed corn, so maybe it wasn't super limiting.
Coffee shop talk had the rent offers being reduced due to our limitations. I don't feel that happened.
VERY satisfied with the tenants, I feel its much closer to a partnership than it is a business arrangement. BUT- the rules were in place on the front end. Not after the fact. | |
