The Internet | Maxzillian - 6/14/2022 19:51 Still, mid afternoon on a Saturday... that demand is going to be high. Today, if I am on the motorway network in the UK and need fuel, so full into a motorway service station I would expect to pay at the very least 10p per litre extra for the convenience, I'm sure it's similar in the USA. It is very, very easy to manage the demand of peak time car charging, and that's jack the price per kw/hr up at certain times of the day. Then voilà, the demand reduces when everyone charges at night, at home. Some will have to pay up, just like some people are happy to pay more for fuel today on the motorway/interstate service stations. You might even pay for enough KWs to get you home to charge off peak, just like now, someone might put a splash in of expensive motorway fuel, to get them home. |
