In my opinion, a 45/47/4955/60 with moderate hours is treacherous to own. Haven't had one yet that at 7000hrs didn't have at least 2 hydraulic pumps, numerous rockshaft rebuilds, mfwd slobering, and need I say transmission brake packs. IF I were forced into a 1999 8300 with 8500 hrs for $60000 or a 1994 4960 with 7000 hrs for $45,000 I'd take the 8300. Both being last year model made, like condition and such.
