Do high houred 8000 series tractors scare you?

Anything with high hrs scares me because I'm not a mechanic. If I was to take a chance it would be on an 8000 series. I have never heard of them having much problems. I guess it depends on what size you want. I've been told 8100 and 8200 will get more hours on the engines than the 8300 and 8400. My neighbor has an 8100 with 14k hrs and very few problems. We have 7500 hrs on our 8100 did the injector pump a while back that has been the only big item. $24k a year for 400 hrs does seem very high. Last year I found an 8200 with 3500 hrs. It will be paid for in two more years. After one year the only repair was two new batteries. The more I think about it. If I had the money, I would buy any low houred 8x00 or 8x10 I could get my hands on. Every year there will be less and less of them. JMO
