IL
We used to have calcium chloride, to much rust. We now use tree sap, makes my truck feel like a waffle for the first couple of days until it gets dry. They are only doing right in front of houses. It usually lasts for a month and a half. I think the township pays one time for the treatment all summer long. Dust is just expected in the country, the few roads we do have oiled get grain hauled on them all winter when they are closed and now they have holes that do way more damage than dust. Atleast I don't have to wash my truck as it won't do any good.
