| That is something that has worried me since we turned on our first autosteer. Personally I dozed off once but caught it just before the front end went through a fence with no damage. There was a house 40' on the other side of that fence though.
I know they beep when you get to the end, but it's not loud enough to wake you if you are really tired and doze off.
I can't figure out why something can't be built in so that if you get within a certain distance of the border of the field it will sound a loud horn and/or put the tractor in neutral and apply the brakes if you have not demonstrated that you are awake and in control again. Considering what is at risk I would think it would be fairly easy to program into the controllers. | |
