Subject: Sleeping with Autosteer

Got this pic sent to me today.  Supposedly very recent, and not so far from "here"..

This text came with the email..

this is a local grower that had trouble with his guidance. The tree went through the cab and through his shoulder requiring surgery.

half a foot to the left it would have gone straight through his chest

  I understand the "trouble" he had was falling asleep....Maybe  they should build some sort of seat buzzer into Autosteer units to make sure people are still awake....  : (

I dont know the full details, but it's highly likely the guy  had done 3 weeks of 20 hr days.

And it can easily happen without Autosteer.
