Western Oregon | 1. Ok, you can get most parts for "orphan" brands if you want to wait or if you can find a dealer who didn't get screwed by AGCO and still stocks a few items.
2. JD has expensive parts and big dealers who don't really give a rip. Of course I don't own a single JD item. Even gave away my manure spreader. (JD said they wouldn't stand behind it.... Never heard that one before...)
3.Some brands purchased by AGCO were in trouble anyway.
4. It is a good thing to make Hesston, Massy, and Cat dealers fight over the same territory-but it is bad to have one really good Hesston dealer or some old dealer that just sells a few Massy parts? Or just what is the plan?/
5. Of course I sound confused. I would really like to be an AGCO fan. Just about everything on the farm is under the AGCO name now. And AGCO reps always make is sound like that care, and they have a website to tell us they care, but historically you can tell they really don't care. That is I suppose what really annoys me. | |
