Subject: 3-wire & take the check valve out.

Yorktown, TX
We use 3-wire because all the problems are on the top of the ground unless you have a bare wire or a locked pump. Also when you put the pump in take out the check valve. This allows the water column to fall and when you pull it, it won't be so heavy. The pump guy will tell you that it will be bad on the pump because when a check valve leaks, the pump has to start with from a reverse rotation. If you just take it out, the water column falls immediately, and the pumps starts from stationary just like it is supposed to. Just a suggestion.
