2 wire dealer is loco. If it's lightening that takes the capacitor, then maybe yes. But today's capacitors are regulated by the good old EPA. The compound (I've forgotten what it's called) that made yesterday's capacitors last forever is now banned from use in today's manufacture. I've replaced several capacitors because they got lazy for no other reason than their life was up.
