an 1 1/2 shackle break in a straight pull, call me so I can see it. We have two that haven't been even scratched in 35 years of heavy winchin. Table you posted is handy, probably absolutely necessary for gov't work but not so in the real world. That 1 1/2 inch shackle will hold to where a single blocked 1 1/8 winch line will break easily before the shackle is damaged.

We have an 1 1/8 inch J welded to the frame of the Versy for a loop.
