Subject: RE: What kind of a chain hold up to a versatile?

I have a 25' long 5/8" grade 80 chain with a grab hook on each end I bought from www.truckntow.com and it will hold up to a 4wd tractor, I've seen it stop a D6 from a running start.  I think I paid around $300 for it but that was five years ago before steel got so expensive.  It's heavy at around 100lbs so it's not something we use very often but it's nice to have when we need it and it's been popular with the neighbors too.  I like the chain as apposed to a strap or cable because it can be hooked to stuff easier and it can be hooked shorter as well.
