kirkton ontario | Generally for a sraight truck get a tandem. A spring ride may be better for farm use. A diesel with at least 300 hp, 10 speed tranny or more gears. I like trucks to have a high ratio rear end, 4:11 or 4:33, they get off a soft field a bit easier. Most brands will do fine, I like KW but they cost more. I would stay away from Volvo, I also am not a fan of Macks, but they are popular. You may consider a tractor trailer combination, they give a lot more capacity, turn shorter and you have a lot of choice for different trailers over the year.
