Driftless SW Wisconsin

Tim,

You are on the right track: light, fast, very little row cleaner and nose up SLIGHTLY.  I'm a bit concerned about your "tilt forward" statement. When it is very very wet we don't want to bring up more wet soil with the lead coulter, just cut any tough residue.

If you are building up mud on the gage wheels it is often because of too much row cleaner. start with them high, get everything else set then just spin our adjusting knob down until you just feel the soil surface and lock the Trashwheels there.

And Joe is correct - the update kits to the latest design help enormously in tough conditions.

50% OM sounds like "peat" to me.
