I lost a drive shaft on an F250 4X4 pulling a 16' load of hogs to market. Mine happened just starting up from a stop, maybe 15 mph. I got out and picked up the shaft, turned the front hubs in, and pulled the last 10 mi. with a front wheel drive. Found out later that ford doesn't sell drive shafts, so I was glad I picked up the old one.
