Lewisburg, PA | No free manure, I haul the manure. I bought a tractor to pump the manure and pay for the fuel! I know we need to talk I ve tried. around the lunch table is the best time for talking when there bellies are full. I want to make this work and they need it to work. Crop Manager ? I ve transfered the farms into A 100 % notill opeation working with all of the manure ,cover crops and the alfalfa. .I ve worked with them enough that I know there will be bad communcation if I work for them. I don't mess around when it comes time fro field work. Risk? my buddy said I have no risk if the put the fert. on !! I kept my cool. Rent I'm paying is the going rate, the land lords love me because I take alot more time to keep the farms mowed up and fence rows trimmed and even plow a drive way or two in the winter. Just this falll we had one of the landlords ask us not to spread any manure on the farm. That didnnt set well with my buddy. | |
