My father in law is getting up there in years; yet he isn't ready to give up the cows! I suggested selling them this coming fall then buying some calves in the spring; just to put in the pastures and sell them come late fall or early winter. I know
pricing is a factor but wondering if this a vaible option or if anyone does it? Approximately 30head is what he would be. What are the good and bads? This way he i'snt fighting winter weather.
Here's a different kind of option.
