I finally changed my diet (thanks John) and in a month started weaning my way off the Prilosec, one every other day for a couple weeks then every 3rd day for a few weeks until I quit. Leaving carbohydrates out of your food helps your whole body heal. I also follow Dr. Ken Berry as well as a few others for tips and advice. I've lost almost 50 pounds without feeling hungry. I'm down to my highschool weight. My wife wants me to quit losing and weightloss has leveled off. My main reason for staying with this diet (life style) is cardiac health. I took a test last may and scored poorly, so I'm trying to heal that. | |
