Pittsburg, Kansas | When Crolynn and I were first married, after me paying half my net worth in cash to my X wife for settlement (getting the biggest bank loan I ever had at the time to do it), we did not have a lot of excess cash. But we made it a point to have a "date night" to keep our romance and newly married life interesting and appreciative.
We both learned a lot from our first marriages and did not want a repeat of the same mistakes. We never wanted to take each other for granted.
We tried to make it a weekly date but definitely not more than two weeks between. Sometimes that meant not eating too high on the hog when we went out or doing something else. The important thing was we took the time do to something together and to appreciate each other's company.
