| I just read this as I ate my 4 jumbo eggs fried in bacon grease. At nearly anywhere else they would be fried in soy oil and cost me $12.....and taste like crap.
For me, eating out is also a social event, not usually a food event.
So many of the places are just heating up food delivered by a wholesale food distributor that it's hard to find a unique dining experience anyway.
The lone exception is a mom and pop bakery about 80 miles away that I visited this year. OMG. Blueberry cinnamon rolls and cookies that are to die for. Made with real ingredients and love. Of course now I have to avoid that place or I would gain back the weight that I lost...... | |
