Subject: Wheat straw value

East-Central Ontario
Anybody else calculated the nutrient value of their wheat straw at these new input prices? Did mine this week and it looks like the straw's worth about 5.5 cents/lb spread back on the field (at Canadian fert prices, on my farm). Last year straw was going for about 5 cents baled, FOB the field. Looks like I'm going to be spending a lot less time baling straw this year, might as well put some red clover on with the urea.
