Have 7800 we spray with has around 8k. Have a PS, and IMHO would be better for field work than PQ. It is somewhat jerky, supposedly if you tear the tranny completely apart and put in some new parts (I know) it improves it immensely. I just throttle back a bit and that helps. Works great for spraying though, as you have 13-14-15-16 gears to spray in and can keep the RPM's around 15-1800. 27 mph road gear is nice as well. If running a loader PQ hands down.

The 4450 we had was a bit more reliable tractor, better AC, smoother shifter. Had less power and poorer cab, lower road speed.
