On one oftwo 875 tractors I have put in a seat from a JD 9400 including its base, made by Sears and on the other a seat taken from a Cat 85D (Cat also uses a Sears seat). The latter one used the existing 875 base. The JD seat is first rate, adds a swivel function and the tractor (and my back) is in good enough shape to justify the cost.
Versatile seat replacement?
