I'm not against the new planters and technology but sometimes I think machinery companies promote possible yield advantages and etc more than what may be actual results. I still plant with a CIH cyclo planter (supposedly the worst planter you can find LOL) and in yield trails and test plot results I have as high if not better than most yields around.
It all comes back to having a planter in good condition and paying attention to the details. When it's all said and done you have to get it in the ground right and harvested right and it's what ends up in the bin that counts.
