south central IN | Don't re rig till you get use to what you have now. The trucks we ran when I worked for a custom guy had load holes in the center and every job took something different. Lines or cones just don't work. The surprising thing is we had to back blind at a lot of places and most of the time you just cant see the hole and sometimes not the load stand either. You just got use to where it was and did your best. I did only work the tail of one fall through to the start of the next and only moved about 2 million gallons with my truck so I have limited experience. Four trucks often ran and everyone quickly adjusted. You may need to work on the load stand spout if your getting a mess. If you do go with a hose and it angles down and drains, mess may not be an issue, but YOU WILL NOT MOVE THAT HOSE LONG unless empty! You will still have to be pretty dead on with a hose. We always found it easiest to move the truck a little as the weight of the hose often made moving the stand difficult. | |
