Subject: Using the drain pipes sounds to be best..........

Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577

If the pit pump can load by pushing into 6500 gallons, that would make everything work better.

Sucking back by the pit pump, a load of large rock to let the liquid drain down into, and a pressure washer ought to keep things pretty tidy.

Using multiple valves in the unload hose at the field has kept that area really clean......nominal amount of spillage.........as long as the tankers had some grade........which allowed the load stand pump to better suck the hoses dry before disconnect.

I think, especially at one field, where the grade is not much, and it got a little messy with disconnect after unloading..........the fix to that is merely take the time ahead of time to backhoe a small trench at field edge, and fill it with a couple 100's $ of big rock.........eliminate the inch of mud/crap that comes from the stuff not running away.

'Course........might have a fight with DNR then over having an uncovered storage pit!!
