| Have a cat in my truck, 3406 B, went out to start it to get it out of the shed yesterday. Started up and then died after a few minutes. I spun off the fuel filter and it was almost out of fuel--about 3/4 empty. I put on a new one after I filled it up with fuel. It started up and ran well.
Why would the filter be out of fuel? Possible fuel system trouble?
