Centralia, MO | Thanks for the suggestions except the one about parking it. I may not know everything about the truck but I am learning which is why I ask questions. I adjusted the brakes all around today and it works perfectly now. I have been adjusting brakes on my trailer in the past but as I pointed out my previous tractor had auto-adjusting brakes. Apparently this one doesn't. This truck also has a shield which prevents visually inspecting the brake pads without pulling the wheels and drum off. PS, I did have the truck inspected about a year ago by an experienced mechanic but I don't have a DOT# or inspection. | |
