| It just dawned on me why I replaced all the bushings. The seal bulletin calls for the same outside bushings if you want to replace them. However, once you drive them to countersink them for the seal they block the grease zerk, since the grease zerk is offset on the arm. So out they came. I didn't realize they were the same bushing until they came in. Thought they be narrower to accomodate. Anyway, I kept them and then just ground a little bevel off of each one and drove them in to align the bevel with the zerk. Deere has a little more homework to do on that bulletin. It's about impossible to get the old bushings out without ruining them, unless they really don't have much wear. Depends on how long they've been neglected. I used to grease the beast twice a season and, like I said earlier, if there is nowhere for the grease to go it doesn't do much good.
