Chilliwack, British Columbia | I had a similar problem in my '00 1500. For me, it was a small part that needed doing, but the problem is that that part is somewhere in the middle of the tranny, so labour is the big issue. I cannot remember exactly what it was that was my problem, but the factory part on all 4L60E trannies is/was problematic, but the 80E trannys are fine. There are aftermarket parts available, that are stronger than stock, for my problem. Not sure if its the same or not?
