Actually it means that is a detachable neck. But instead of a cylinder pushing up off the ground to lift the trailer, (which does not work very well in soft conditions) it uses the neck and wedges it self up. Some how never actually seen one work, but basicly you can drop the trailer any where and not worry about not getting the trailer up to connect to the neck.
