North End I-15 | The Air will compress in the tank . Years back we ran non bladder tanks . Every once in a while we would have to drain down the water and air up the tank . You should be able to run several gallons of water between pump cycles . If it is cycling rapidly, chances are 1. the tank is water logged 2. check valve is leaking 3. Hole in pressure or return side of jet line .
If it runs and runs and cannot quite reach shut off pressure I suspect a combination of problems . If the tank bladder is bad but not leaking to the out side , then perhaps the lines have a hole.
The water seeping from air fill hole is a sign of a logged tank. | |
