Subject: While i think of it

Ayr Queensland Australia 4807
I fix tractor for a living so i am out at farm sheds most days, here are the things i see around here and wonder why people do what they do.
1/Use a grinder or wire buff and not wear safety glasses.
2/ Change points while sitting under a raised implement with no safety stand
3/ Change slasher blades under slasher with not stand ,had a person i knew do that he died as a result. Left a one year old child behind. Just across from my workshop a mowing contractors shed two men were doing the same thing changing blades no safety stands i called out to them and asked them if they new that particular person and they said no they did not know of him. I said to them do you know why you do not know him ,because he is dead from a slasher falling on him. I am not sure if they got my point.
4/ No safety start switches on the stater circuits of older tractors.
5/ Tyre fitters changing tyres just jacking the tractor up not using a safety stand a few years ago here a tyre fitter lost a hand when the jack failed and his hand was caught under the rim and the tyre.
6/ Power cord wires exposed.
These are a few i can think of.
