I would imagine the results would be satisfactory on your/neighbors dogs, cats, and whatever else ate the dead birds too. If it were me, I wouldn't mess with Furdan, thats some powerful stuff.
I've heard filling an old bean-bag chair with anhydrous then letting it vent in the shed overnight works well, but I've never tried it myself.
