Upstate New York
I don't think tieing the two vac motors would work because on every 16 row that I had the motors always needed different flow to produce the same ammount of vac.
5th valve for 8230 is $1,919, for a 9330 is $1,796.
Power Beyond for 8230 is $ 623 and for a 9330 is $ 543
Since I already have the valve, where I can tee the two vac's together and adjust flow independly, was never a big deal in the 16 row's, and have the ability to switch tractors as conditions warrant, this is probally do.
I agree that combining the vac's and seed star would be a bad thing, it would be inviting disaster with vac pressure and seed drive surging.
Who can tell me more about how many times the air force changes down pressure? I have sandy fields with occaisional clay knolls and clay fields with sandy knolls. How fast will the airforce react after it see a change?
