In my soil conditions,(heavy blackstick gumbo and sand) I found out talking to my buddys at Precision Planting that you have to take it to manuel mode when I get to these soil types as the program in the 20/20 would react the opposite as to what I need it to do. Blackstick would cause it to dump the air and uplift because the planter wants to sink in causing the weight to increase on the sensors making me sink in deeper and deeper causing it to compact more. In this case I need to go to manuel and increase air preasure to help the planter float by spreading the weight. In sand it wants to increase air preasure causing the gauge wheels to push sand. In this instance I need to dump air off. Couldn't see the extra $ if I was running it manuelly 80-90% of the time.
