If you have a malfunction you have no way to shut oil flow off with power beyond. Thats why I opted for the 5th valve. I just don't like having oil flow while traveling just in case. That valves pretty cheap if you have to buy a tranny or rearend.
My planter has 5 sets of hydraulic hoses and my tractor has 4
