NW Iowa
yes, both the gallons and the acres come out right on the monitor, but it doesn't match 12.5 gal/acre. just a hair over 1000 gal, on the monitor, and 70 acres sprayed, so it comes out to 14.28 gal/ac. The field was not that odd shaped, not too many point rows. The guy i bought the sprayer from didn't have an owner's manual for the 844. From what he told me, you just pick the color of tip you're using on the monitor and go. The first year i used it, it came about about perfect. 80 acres to 1000 gal of spray. But every year, it seems like it's been getting a little worse. it's bad enough now, i'm trying to get to the bottom of the problem. yes, i'm running it in auto, around 6-7 mph
