That answers my question before I got to ask. Don't most real milling machines have Bridgeport written on them somewhere? They are almost forever lasting and can be bought reasonable, meaning when you have no idea when you will be using it.

Gunshop next door has a white porcelan looking deal, looks heavy and resembles Bridgeport. I know he bought it very reasonable.

Otherwise, using a drill press for a milling machine is like moldboard plowing with a side delivery rake. We have a heavy drill press at the shop too. Use it for testing acetylene torch mostly.
