Sac & Story county IA		The weight is 250#. That is just not enough to be rigid. Maybe to mill plastic. And there is a lot of that done in the world. But to cut a 3/8" keyway in 1 3/8" cold rolled shaft, either the side pressure will make something fail in the column or it will wander around the workpiece so as not to do a decent job. Or take .002 each pass and make 85 passes.
