If you have a grain cart with a scale on, the higher capacity is a lot nicer b/c you don't have to worry about movine so much and spilling off the other side. I think the only way tires are wearing odd on a trailer it means it neads alignment or over or underinflation of tires, should have nothing to do with size of trailer.
