Woodbury county | I have a 20 foot 1020 and had a bit of the same problem you are having. The operator manual for the 1020 says to tilt the teeth on the reel 5 degrees back....I move the teeth back to what I thought was 10 degrees back and that helped kick the beans a little further towards the cross auger. There also are metal straps about and inch or an inch and a half wide attached to the flexible cutter bar that hook over the pans.....mine were sticking up a little and were catching the beans. I took them off and bent them so they laid flat against the bottom of platform and that seemed to help the most. The combination of slanting the reel teeth back and bending the straps to lie flat on the bottom of the platform made all the difference in my platform. | |
