Woodham, Ontario | I have driven a 926 and absolutely loved it, the transmission is a lot better than the deere IVT and the hydraulics are better. Some people who have both a 8120 and a 920 say that the fendts are much better on fuel and for certain tasks the CVT is much better suited than a powershift. The 50 km/h roadspeed maybe the main selling point for them though.
But last weekend I heard that someone who owns a 715 that was in an accident, was borrowing a 926, tried to plow with the 926 and that it could NOT pull a 7 bottom rollover plow as well as a jd 8210 did, which should be a lot less HP. CVTs are less efficient in bringing power to the ground but i didn't think it would be that bad. | |
