Brazilton KS

2. When loaded, I move 700 bushel for an average investment of $3300. Two smaller wagons together, with a tractor I already own. I doubt anybody can beat that with a truck. Our farthest haul is 4 miles, 90% is within 2 miles, so I don't see a big advantage to trucks. This is down gravel roads with such little traffic if I meet someone, I'll pull over and stop if needed. Happens maybe 2-3X day, during the "corn rush".

I can play that game too:   I move about 950 bu (when I'm legal) for an average investment of about $3000 if I only count the two cheaper trailers.  A used hopper trailer, with a tractor I already own.   Heck, I can do even better then that....I move it for nothing because I already own the hopper trailers, too.

I bet if we both count our tractors, I'm still cheaper then you.
