Subject: Re: Pioneer Y beans

Interesting analysis, However I was wondering if you could give us a reason why NK recently said goodbye to pioneer and their optimum gat technology and is now going with the RR2 technology.
Back to the original question, here in southern ontario I have seen a few plots with the Y series beans and they are always behind the older pioneer beans.
That is despite the Y series always being treated with cruiser and the older one often not treated.
I do not know who invented molecular marking technology but I am told all seed companies have been using it for years.
The pioneer marketing department is still number 1.
