188k in 15" rows? Wow, is that common for your geography, Ed? That's plenty for drilled beans here in NE Indiana, although a LOT of guys drill them thicker. Most guys around here in 15's are at 160-170k. One guy told me there is a professor at tOSU who does lots of population trials and aggressively pushes for lower pops.
