if these are jan 2007 units or later or have been updated there should be no difference with spring or air units. Air is just much more convenient to adjust. Once you find the right spring setting should be Ok. I don't have pics behind a manure coulter. Problem there is usually the 5 or 6 row manure track is nowhere near the right spot for a 12 row striptill or planter bar. Some striptill rows are in a coulter valley some are on firm ground. Some times you are better off to run the manure at a steep angle to the strips or vice versa. Jim at Dawn
