| The KDWP changed the date back to the second weekend for next year. They never should have changed it in the first place, if anything they should have moved it back a week.
No milo cutting here yet, probably another week. The dryland has had a pretty rough time, we had just enough rain to get it up near the end of june then it just about burned up in august then it was cool in sept and it just flat stopped maturing.
Had some DK28e that tried to fall down during the wind (about 25%) no suprise with that variety. 37-07 and 29-28 stood very well through some 70 mph gust. Our aph is around 40, some years 0 and some 80:) I can't imagine cutting 150 bushel milo, even on irrigated.
finished drilling wheat a month ago. Out here you plant when you have moisture and dont look at the calander. | |
