You have lots of good points. I know quite a bit about my fields and the practices given to them. But, I know little about the capabilities of my software. I went with the SMS based off of many good comments about it. (I got away from APEX because of lots of guys in my area switched to SMS from APEX and have been pleased).
I have had very little time to get aquainted to the SMS software. I received it a few days before we started harvest. Even though I sit as it is raining I just need more time and assistance from someone familiar with the program to show me the ropes. At least for this year I feel lost in SMS. Everything is new and I'm very cautious with every punch of a key. If I do use someone to help with prescritions this year I expect to be sitting right next to them giving my input. I need them more for program "navigation". I wish I was instantly an expert on SMS but like most things it will take time and practice. | |
