North West IA/western AZ | Turn the drive pulley untill the sickel stops travel. Mark an index point. Turn further in the same direction until the sickel starts moving in the opposite direction. Mark the pulley again. There should be 1" or less between marks. I had 3".
Hope this is understandable.
edit, Test is best done still in the head with sickel attached to provide some drag.
